SRI SHANKARACHARYA JAYANTI CELEBRATION - 2023

Another beautiful set of memories of another beautiful Day of Remembrance celebrated at Sringeri – Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti along with Special Pujya celebrated at Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham. The Followers of Sanathana Dharma believe that Sri Adishankaracharya is the incarnation of Lord Shiva (Dakshinamurthy). Sri Adishankaracharya reestablished the Doctrine of Advaitk Philosophy during eighth century. At Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Where the first and foremost Peetham was established on Southern Side. The Shankara Jayanthi was celebrated for a period of 5 Days from Vaisaka Shukla Pratipath to Shukla Panchami. The Celebrations was come to an end with the ceremonial rathotsava followed by Teppotsavam in river Tunga. Special Poojas are pereformed during these five days period in Sri Adi Shankara temple. Sharadamba Pushpa Seva Trust arranges special flowers for daily poojas and will also decorate the temple premises with special garlands. Flower arrangements has also be made for decoration on occasion of Rathotsava and Teppotsava.
