SRI VIDYASHANKARA MAHAKUMBHABHISHEKA
On Maghamasa of Subhakrut nama samvatsara was remain as a memorable one in the History of Sringeri since the historic event of KUMBHABHISHEKA for Rajagopura at Lord Malahanikareswara Temple which was dated back to Thretha Yuga is being done on the Sukla Paksha Saptami Tithi on 12.2.2023. As a part of this Kumbhabhisheka of Rajagopura many special rituals viz., Laksha Modaka Maha Ganapati Homa, Ati Rudra Maha Yaga, Laksha Mallika Archana were organized at Sri Malahanikareshwara Temple. Apart from above, Sahasra Modaka Ganapathi Homa and Satha Chandi Homa were performed at Sri Sharadamba Temple as part of the Maha Rathotsava celebration to Goddess Sharadamba being done annually on Magha Sukla Tritiya.
